Don Kennedy, a Boulder fire fighter, saw the need for a fire truck repair facility in the city that he served. In 1966 he and his wife Elinor started Fire Equipment Mechanics to fill this need.
Don retired from the fire service in 1984 and approached Pierce about attaining a dealership for the state of Colorado. He was awarded the dealership and Front Range Fire Apparatus was born.
Since that time Front Range has grown into a full service equipment sales and vehicle repair facility. We represent the manufacturers of the highest quality products in the industry and repair vehicles of all makes and models.
Front Range is owned by Leah Kennedy and Duane Doucette with a full staff of sales representatives serving Wyoming and Colorado from the Western Slope to the Eastern plains.
